Mods on my 99 gs start monday next week. Im doing my Cat-Back 1st is a flowmaster catback good like flowmaster muffler and everything? And also since im putting a 2.0 head on a 2.4 is there going to be a compression problem? anything else? I know this mechanic that mods cars so labor is close to free. Complete head swap $200 because I need newlifters anyway. Any special lifters so i could rev high without problems? thanks again.

 

2.0 and 2.4 use the same head casting, theres no difference

 

for this project would the flowmaster cat back be good? Flowmaster from what ive heard from other peoples use is a great brand. But ive heard of other brands just wondering what would be best. There doing my Cat-back for $295 for cat back muffler and whatever tip I want all flow master. After the head swap im going to start out with a stock turbo just to work out the bugs at the same time I will swap out the manifold and headers with performance parts they do both for $60 labor. The head swap is $200. So far turboing my car dosen't seem to be as bad as everyone made it sound because im doing it little by little. But beside the point would you do as far as exhaust wise for this project. And the shop im going to is known for perfect straight pipeing so good power for me haha.

What about the manifold and downpipe with the 1st cat any good brand thats cali legal?
