How Would i make My eclipse a convertible. And yes i no it would a lot of work and dont tell me to just go buy a spider. is there a kit out there that i could get or what? Please help me.

it was done once. If you want the car to have chassis problems then go for it... the car will bend like the other one did. there is NO kit for it because its unsafe.

PS: Go buy a spyder

Yeah hes right. The whole top of the car keeps the car from bendind when you do anything and that why alot of people do not understand why convets. are heavier then coupes but the coverts. have more metal to keep them from bending to much and there DEF is not kit our there.

Im with him just pony up and buy a spy

A Spyder has a more bolstered body than a non-vert. You can absolutely make your hardtop into a softtop, but like the guys above state....your unibody will not last. Did you know that a vert is just as heavy as an AWD? Do you know why?
I won't tell you to just buy a Spyder, but I also won't tell you we told you so.[sm=burnout.gif]
