Default increased Car value

OK So I put an ad/comment on craigslist stating that mod do not increase the resale of your dsm. And boy have i got a bunch of hate mail. All assuming I dont own a dsm and that I have no idea what in talking about. I see all the damn ricers with cheap *** body kit trying to get way more then the value of the car and I was sick of seeing it.[:@]

Am I wrong?? You mod for yourself right?? Just because it has a couple mods dosent mean you can try to sell it for 7000. right???

Whats Your guys opinion on this??

well it depends, anything bolt on doesn't usually really add anything, but turbo can add alittle and things like a stroker kit/ built internals can add a good amount. But it is never near what you put in.

yea i agree. mods dont increase the value. if they do very mininal. and in most cases it would probly bring it down more then anything. or at least that is my opinion

New paint, redone interior and rebuilt drivetrains give value IMO. Basically making it like new but keeping it stock keeps its value but your all right you'll never break even unless you a really good hustler.

Ya, the supra is really the only one.. But then again, that car is just gonna go up in value with nothing done to it...
