Injector Question
I don't have a problem, Just a question. In the morning, when I first fire up the eclipse and I start to drive somewhere it doesn't seem to have much power until it warms up a bit. I have 550cc injectors, and I've heard bigger injectors are like that. I just don't know why. How come?

its not just because they are 550s, it is because they are bigger than stock. whenyou put bigger injectors on a car, you increase injector deadtime to compensate for the size. Since they squirt out more fuel, you ahve them open for less time. so they are pretty much shooting in fuel in longer bursts. and also since they are bigger, when the motor is cold the fuel doesnt atomize as well, so the spray patter isnt as fine and the clyinder mixture isnt as good. also, if you are running colder plugs they can further add to the problem. id say jus get used to it. id also say let it warm up for 30 seconds or so, but 10 minutes sounds rediculous, jus take it easy until the motor is warm. I dont know about all cars, but my m3 owners manual specifically states to drive off immediately, and NOT to let the motor idle to warm up.
