Ya that was lots of help thanks. Ill buy a cheap filter for now then. And ya the 4g64's can handle boost well im only going for 300-350whp. If I was building a track car then ya I would need to. I don't even need to upgrade that many internals in the head just 3mm lifters. maybe springs but thats it. Im a DD so dosen't really matter....Just after market cams would help a lot from what ive heard to get about 350whp along with the big evo 3 turbo 16g with supporting mods. Right?

 

i think thats about the point where you are going to need to upgrade your internals ie. pistons, rods, etc..

 

well i know the 4g63 can handle up to around 400 SAFELY, i think you can squeeze 500 out of it, but thats right around the time you'll get a hole in the side of ur block... as far as the 4g64 TE said they can hold up pretty well... but when you're gettin in the 350 range that MIGHT be pushing... but im not sure, anyone wanna clarify??

 

yeh someone clairify because if thats the case im going to buy internals because i dont wanna do it later. Im not trying to buy parts for nothing so someone clarify please. Oh yeh Injectors to right?

 

yea you need to upgrade ur injectors, fuel pump, etc.

 

what exactly would be ETC and can I upgrade that before I put a turbo or will I have to do it at the same time?
