Default Intake Q's

Hey, Sorry if this question has already been asked, but I couldn't find it in the forum.

Do cold air and short ram intakes work just as well on automatic trannies as they do on standrads? I've been looking at some AEMs, and the cold airs don't specify A/T or S/T on the specs, but the short rams say standard trans only. What's up with that?

Yes, intakes work the same whether on automatic or manual transmission equipped vehicles. The reason the short ram may not work on the automatic is because the transmission is taking up more room and the intake doesn't fit inside the engine bay. Automatic transmissions are usually bigger in size than manual transmissions.
