Howdy everyone. My 96 GST spyder (100K mi) just lost its engine, and I'm looking to replace it with a new engine. What I'm wondering is, how difficult is it to replace the 2nd gen 4G63 with a 1st gen? does it fit right in, along with a replaced computer? what other steps will I need to take? I've heard that the 1st gen engines are a lot more reliable, and pretty much better in general, is this true? Would you recommend any other engines?
