Default knowlegable only plz

okay just got done putting my reworked head back on and now i turned my turbo into a ticking time bomb i blew the shaft bearing and basically i can move it up and down ? is rebuilding this turbo worth it or did i totally blow it orr is it cheaper to buy a aftermarket replacement ?

Do you still have a stock turbo? Its probably gonna be easier to just replace it with either a used t25, or 14b (with a j-pipe). Or try to find one that is already rebuilt. Some companies might offer a core charge on rebuilt ones.

If its a stock turbo, just upgrade it to a 16g.

yeah its stock. so whats the difference between the stock and a g 16 obviously its bigger and forces more air but do i have to upgrade my fuel system or have a reflash on my ecu

Nope, your fuel system is more than capable of compensating for the higher volume of air at stock boost.

You'll need an 2g install kit for the 16g turbo.
