I don't know about Silverstar and Piaa and all that but 2 of my friends bought HID kits for their cars(eclipse and prelude) and we installed them ourselves. It's really easy, I mean it comes with instructions and everything.

PIAA is a brand... not a type of bulb. Silverstar is sort of like the closest you can GET to HID without actually having it.. It provides a nice color and all... but in the end HID is still better. Are you looking for a nice color, or for efectiveness and light output?

i want it to look good, unfortunaley when I bought my eclipse it came with projectors, and I dont got 700 bucks to retrofit them. If silverstars look alright im probably gonna get them if not im just gonna buy stock headlights, and get HIDs.

$700? Why? You can get a kit cheap as hell... well... cheaper than that anyway

actually some of the kits are "plug n play" so you wont have to splice anything.....but really working on a DSM isnt hard, especially simple wireing
