Low idle or missfire?
Hello I just got a 97 eclipse GS-T with 105k miles the only after market stuff i got with it is greddy turbo exaust and a blow off valve and an ingen intake which i still have to put on and a 1200 watt Alpine amp. I think I got a good deal everything works and its clean and paint is flawless i got it all for 6,000. but my friend said my car was miss firing but it only seems to idle really low it doesnt do anything wierd once you drive it no missfiring there but i was woundering what are something I can do to fix this im only 17 so i dont have alot of money lol it took me a year and a half of working to save for this car parents didnt help me but could it just be the weather because its kinda rainy here or is there anything I can check to see whats wrong with it? thanks

my bet is that your BOV is vented to the atmospere and not being plumbed back into the inake so at idle the car will idle low like it wants to stall and may bounce up slowly. what kind of BOV is it that you have?

my car now doesnt even start the fuel pump like acted like it was running hard last night i could hear it even after i turned off my car then this morning all of a sudden it doesnt start it trys to but just doesnt seem to get the fuel so i replaced my fuel filter hoping it was just plugged but then after that I realized that the fuel pump i couldnt hear it anymore any suggestions
