ok well im starting to pull together my mod list and came across a question. i want to put in a LSD and i was wondering what the difference between an actual LSD and the LSD insert like the one that slowboyracing offers?

 

The difference is that the insert is not made to handle alot of torque. So say you want something like 400+ HP then i would not reccomend just getting the insert, but instead the full quaiffe LSD. But if your only wanting this insert for say a FWD with a 16g then yes this is a good alternative since the install and the price are alot better. But i would suggest not getting it from SBR. Try and look for other alternatives like BM

 

yea its for my FWD and i was going to run probably a evo3 16g. so a insert would be ok? what are some good company's who make one?
