does anyone know how i could possibly make my 420a sound stronger as in deeper and more powerful... my buddy has an srt-4and his cars aspiration sound resembles a desiel truck to my ears.. can anyone help?

maybe cams? bore size?

well, i know this thread has been posted 1000 times before, but im gettin ready to turbo my 420a eclipse gs.... i know its not the best of engines to rebuild but its what i have you know.

ive been researching my *** off.. about the subject and to run a nice turbo effectively and correctly on a 420a gs... you must rebuild the top and bottom end...

i want the car to be fast and have a very nice sound.. like a strong sound..

as i said before.. if somebody could give me a list of things to rebuild for perfection in gettin ready for a turbo.. i would greatly appreciate it!

Your 420a is not going to sound like a SRT-4 unless you run a niceturbo kit onit...and even then its hard to make a 420a sound like a SRT. Do a search on turboing the 420a its been posted on heremany times.

 

Every car has its own sound. Look at the sound difference between an evo and an STi. There is a huge difference there for cars that are pretty close to the same HP. Simply by adding a turbo and getting more HP, is not gonna make a motor sound more deep. The only way to change the sound of a car is through the muffler. And even then there is limitations to the ammount that you can change the sound.
