Default MINOR but help! keyless entry ?

Ok I searched through everywhere on the forums.. even searched up keyless entry and found nothing for what I was looking for. My keyless entry has been sllooooowly dying (the little light was getting dimmer all the time and it tooka couple stabs to unlock) but now it's officially done does ANYONE know how to change the effin battery in those buggers!? I have a 97 gst spyder anyone that doesn't know.. but I've looked around and can't find info. I'd assume you just take the key ring off and take it apart.. but I don't want to go ripping it apart only to find that all the insides fall out or something lol.

there might be a screw on back and it prys off from the keyring area to the top. but be gentle, you might break the snaps in it if you do it too hard.

then it just pops together... if you wanna just take a small knife or screwdriver and slowly start to pry it apart, dont "force" it, but try to coerce it off... or you could just take it to a body shop or dealer and see if they'll replace the battery for you

This might sound like a butthead idea but take it to your local jeweler. As long as they sell watch batteries and such they'll be able to replace the battery. I got mine replaced and it cost me about $8.
