Does Someone Know How Does The Mitsubishi Eclipse 96 GST Cruise Control Works

Cruise control in general works using vacume pressure. One a cruise control vehicle you'll notice there's two cables attatched to the throttle vavle. One is hooked to the pedal and the other to the cruise control part. It works off knowing how fast you want to go and using the vacume to control the throttle to maintain that speed. A much more simple explaination of a complex system but it's the basics.

Yes, this is the "Braking it down Barney Style" version.

That is unless you want to know what the actual control is supposed to be saying. I was thinking your steering wheel controller had rubbed off all the wording. In that case let us know and we can help out more.

lol, didn't think of that, the answer to the question could start out with, push the button to the left of the steering wheel.... I had a car for a few months like that where there wasn't any text left on the buttons.
