My Question is that im getting ready to buy a 97 gs-t, if i add this list of mods to it am i going to run the risk of having any problems? any advice will be helpful thanks. Also is there anything else i can add to get more hp gains out of the car, and can anyone recommend a performance Rotor and Distributor. Thanks for the Advice in Advance.

no way to tell if there is a problem unless you do a compression test. if the engine was taken care of it should be fine. Eclipses have distributorless ignition, there is just a coil pack. why do you want a performance rotor.

 

Just thought with a performance Rotor, and Distributor it would help out, so nothing would cut out at higher RPM's The reason i asked the questions i did though is, that as much as i hate to say it, tuners, and or imports (((not sure what fits it better))) have always had my attention. Thats why im getting a 97 Gs-t and parting ways with my 1989 iroc-z camaro. To keep it simple Imports are more fun, sound better, run better, have better gas mileage, and will run circles around most muscle cars. I know that first hand. lol anyway any advice on what parts to add, and what to stay away from would be very nice, im just looking to build a nice Eclipse ive got a list that you saw above for the motor, but also one for the body, and interior. Also im justing wanting to get a car that isnt a money pit like the camaro was, bought it for 3k, and spent 6 to 7k fixing it up making it run right. and After looking around though the hondas, and nissians, etc, i decided that out of the lot of them the Mitsubishi was best, and i dont want to waste my money and built up my next car, and leave something important off, or get one part when something else is better. thanks again, and any advice would be very nice.

 

dude....you are good to go w/ all this mods...and u' can always adjust boost for more power.

If ur piping is bigger than the stock intercooler, I think u mite have 2 get a new n bigger 1 to fit....or u can always get a new 1 newayz juss 2 be safe lol.

 

i have a quik ? were would i be able to get msd coil and wirse for 96 eclipse rs 4g64.
and i have a weapon r intake would a aem cold air intake be better i have full back exaust headers to muffler front and rear strut tower bars what would be the next best step that is affordible these pics are my cars

 

you dont really need a bigger ic until you upgrade the turbo and start upping the boost. you could get one, but its overkill

 

Well i was wanting to up the boost to 14lbs if the stock insides will let it. so would that still be overkill?
