I found out what was making that noise, it was the balancing shaft bearing so they are replacing that. Now here is my question, can that bearing cause it to leak oil and burn it?? Cause it wasnt just making that noise and stalling it also was leaking oil and it started to smoke again. When I asked the guy the other day he said it wasnt anything major, so is it normal for a motor to burn oil and leak a little until it is broken in?

I have a list of parts that where replaced. They replaced crank, main bearings, rod bearings and replaced one conecting rod, Reconditioned head and installed new rings, oil pump and timing belt. All gaskets, seals and o-rings replaced t-stat and the water pump. I paid $2365 sound about right?? I didnt know they reconditioned the head, what do they do to it to recondition it?
Oh and they said they scaned it for codes before and after and 12 and 44 came up wich is
12 is Mass air flow sensor and 44 is ignition coil circuit problem. But Im sure you guys already knew what they are. Thanks again everyone for all the help, hopefully I will get her back today. How hard is it to change the balancing shaft bearing its been there for two days now, I guess they had to order the part.
