mounting an intercooler
I was just curious as to how hard it is to mount an intercooler under the front bumper because I would like to do it myself. I have a 95 GS-T that I'm going to swap a 97 front onto. I also don't have the intercooler, I'm just asking the question. I do plan to get a Hahn Intercooler being as it is the cheapest that I've come across.
As a side note, I have seen a GReddy intercooler that was an 18v and a 24v, I believe, so what do the numbers mean?
Thanks.

Front mount, right? Do you have the stock turbo?
DON'T put on a front mount without upgrading the turbo. If you have stock turbo, you will lose power with a front mount. And before you upgrade your turbo make sure you put in the supporting mods. Then put on your front mount.

Thanks a lot. I was going to put on an intercooler before the turbo because i thought it would be helpful. My plans are to add a EVO III 16g turbo and FMIC, downpipe, turbo manifold, boost controler and boost gauge (Next step), a crushed 1g BOV*, and a custom turbo inlet pipe (http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/showthread.php?t=57364).
Right now the mods I have are a GReddy EVO2 3" cat-back exhaust, cut my BOV dump tube (sounds much better) and added an aircone, took out my BCS restrictor and the stupid silencer.
*I was searching the web for the FAQ for the inlet pipe and found a FAQ addressing the 1g BOV. It talks of replacing the stock 2g BOV w/ an EVO VIII that is very similar and is tested at 15lbs and 23lbs.
