i have a recently purchased 99 eclipse gs-t and i've been told my headlights might be HID from people who saw them. how can i figure out if they are?

 

Look for a box connected to both headlights and it shouldn't be mounted too far from the headlights and there should be a pair. If it doesn't have these boxes, then you just have projector headlights that have Halogen bulbs in them made to look like HIDs which have a light output that is less than with the stock Halogen
housing.

 

I like the way that was put. You may also have those stupid 'drill in' LEDS that give your light a blue toned output. You could actually just post a picture up of your headlights.

 

Do they come on bright right away or take a few seconds to fully warm up and brighten up?
