Mirage Ellipsoid HID Headlights
Hi All,
My wife has a 2000 Mirage DE sedan with 131000 miles, and she wants newer headlights to see the road better at night. I put some ZKW Ellipsoid headlights with HID kit in my 98 BMW and they are great, but I have not found anything specific for the Mirage.
I tried some DEPOprojector headlights awhile back but they were not focused enough and just spread the light all over the place, not to mention the police did not like that too much. LOL
Any thoughts about what types of headlights I can get that would work with aHID kit?FYI: the higher the Kelvin rating of the HID bulb the less light is actually produced. What you see on the newer cars is 4300 K and they produce the most and brightest lightwhereas a bulb that is marked as 8500 K produces very little usable light.
Thanks for your help,
GearHeadPeter
