Default Need Help

Okay awhile ago a friend and I put a new head unit and subs in my car. Well after we finished installing everything I turn the car on and everything is going great, then (since it was dark out when we finished) I turn the headlights on and I have no gauge lights or lights that light up where the a/c and heater and that stuff is. I checked all the fuses many times and everyone of them is fine. The gauges work find too, but there isnt any light. I also tore out the face plate to check all the bulbs and the bulbs were also fine. So my question is what is wrong and how do I fix this?!

there is a little **** on the left side of your gauge cover with a little lightbulb, you can turn it so you can dim your lights. try that and see if it works.

My amp runs 450 rms, mayb 400 i dont remember to be honest. Its a fosgate amp. But I dont think any of my stereo equipment is making the lights go out. I am pretty sure though that that is what caused the failure of gauge lights. They worked before we installed everything but now they dont. I'm wondering if there is a switch or something like that that might have been ruined. Or if that theft protection stero **** from the factory had anything to do with all of this. I dunno... O and yes im runnin the stock alt. There wasnt a need for a better one.

this SAME exact thing happened to me, was a ground wire I forgot to hook back up under the head unit. Once I put it back to ground all my lights worked again.
