I know the whole soft issue with 2Gs has been beaten to death. But does any one have a good alternative to thepassenger side soft top latch. Mine is crap and I DO NOT want to pay a dealer 190 bux for a piece of plastic that's gonna break again. I have called junk yards across the country for this part and I have had no luck finding this latch. Anyone have any good solutions or no anyoen selling a passenger side latch for cheap

 

What exactly is wrong with it? Is it broken or could a few of the parts be replaced to make it work again?

 

It's not there at all (the passenger side latch), I got the car with it like that. And the dealership is raping me to replace it.
