Default New 2 the game need help?

I have and 90 Eclipse automatic and my won't start no more because it won't stay in Gear and i can't seam 2 keep it tight

Wow, complicated problem. Well it soundsmechanical, so you'll have to take out the center arm rest area where the shifter is. Just take of all the plastic panels and look under there. It's kinda hard to tell you exactly what to do, ya know, it's like a "you have to be there" kinda thing. But look at the shifter and see if there are any broken cables or anything atttached to it. If you can press the shift lock button all the way down and it sticks or deosn't pop out all the way, then the shifter is broken. If the button pops out like normal, but the lever(shift stick)won't stay in gear, then it may be a broken peice on the baseor cable. Like i said, it's hard to tell you what to look for since i can't see it. But if you have time, just open it up and look around. Sometimes the hardest problem is caused by the simplest thing. If you can't find anything wrong, just write back and explain it a little bit more. Hope this helps.
