Nice dude. But now are you going to go into the actual clutch replacement? I mean some people don't know about the throwout bearing and the guide bearing or that they would be wise to do the rear main oil seal since they're right there. Just thoughts on that but otherwise you're looking good. Pics are great (Though it looks like a 3 year old got a hold of the damn yellow crayon again...
Get what'd I tell you about colorin on walls??) Keep up the good work I'll post a sticky link for it.

O.K. I didn't know there wasn't a pilot bearing I've never had to do a clutch in one of these. As for the rear main oil seal... I would do it while I'm in there for the simple fact that it's right there why not replace something that's getting old. Better to replaace it now than wait till it blows and then you have to take it all apart again to replace it. To clear up what the rear main oil seal IS it's the seal that goes in the block and keeps the oil from leaking out at the shaft that comes out of the engine to turn the transmission. Changing it when doing a clutch is merely my preference to do things to prevent having to repeat work later.
I'm not trying to start a argument, its just that fact that the rear mains are quite good on these motors, and its not common at all for them to go bad. Also if you have never put in a seal before and mess it up putting it in.........thats all I'm trying to say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.
Yes a pilot bearings are more common in RWD cars, I hate the!

LOL I'm not trying to argue either I understand your point on it and I agree if they haven't done it before probably a bad idea. I didn't know that the pilot bearing was more prominent in RWDs though... Cars these days you never know WHAT has what until you take 'em apart
. How much do you know about the Mitsu 2.6 turbos? (G54B I think it was or was it the G45B....) I'm looking at rebuilding one and hopefully built it up a bit at the same time. Looking to use my Conquest for drifting
... If you'd be able to help me with suggestions and info in rebuilding it I'd greatly appreciate it.
