Hey to all. I'm new to this site and am planning on purchasing a 97 gs-t or gsx soon. I've been reading most of the posts to get a general idea of what mods to get. I have some questions about what kind of FMIC to purchase along with boost gauge, MBC, BOV, Lowering springs etc. I'm looking at having a daily driver with between 280 to 310 whp. Can anyone give me some information regarding what brands I should look at regarding the FMIC, and what mods would be the better buy? Any input is appreciated.
Thanks

Honestly alot of the name brand stuff is very much alike it all in what you want your car to have for brands. Greddy HKS APEXi ect ect all very good top notch.
you will need a 16G turbo upgrade at least to get to that HP exhaust intake Front mount and pipes the Greddy type s BOV is fine for that and relitivly cheap or the 1G crushed that is a less flashy looking but very cheap to buy and gets the job done. on top of that youll need to get feul injectors and pump and tune it with something like an SAFCII. like I said the brand names are mainly a personaly preference thing and maybe a vsual thing depending on the parts. But I have Megan exhaust on my EVO is was half the amount a greddy or HKS would be and it sounds great and its the same sized pipeing with the same bends.

Whatever you do, don't go the cheapest on everything.. Usually you get what you pay for.. That doesnt mean you need to get the most expensive of the stuff either though..
