Default the noise

hey i have a 97 rs and i added the headers and a 2.5 exaust but the muffler sounds annoying!! its not a factory its a wicked. is there any way to reduce allt the eeeerrrrrs or wat? cuz it does have to modify the sound but it just gets louder. i was thinking of just cutting off the muffler completely, does anyone know how that would sound? and if you can help with any ideas to reduce the sound. thanx

The sound issue is due to the fact you have a header

All Na I4s that run aftermarket headers sound bad. they amp the DB level alot and add alot more rasp. Remove the header and put stock back on I garentee it will sound alot better.
