Regardless. If all 4 cylinders were 125psi, then you have a problem.

The slowness to start shouldn't make a difference. Once the needle on the compression tester stops moving, that is IT.

unless i missed something batteries don't have anything to do with the compression of an engine, they just provide electrical. and if the starter is on doesn't matter either. Seriously, tear apart you block and find out what the problem is. you got a serious problem for the compression to be that low. your friend doesn't know what hes talking about.

Question well i will keep you posted

Im starting the break down this weekend. Im mad that I cant find the guy who did the work. he gave me a one year warty. on the job! I am thinking of paying for a PI to find him. But the car runs good all but the fuel cut at 5000 if I floor it. but normal dirving its fine.

did you have a local shop do it or just some guy? And as for your fuel cut issue....go to the link---->http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/freq...-fuel-cut.html

that should help you out and that site has insane amounts of information for just about anything you can think of.

I bet it isn't fuel cut, I bet it is just because of the low compression.

Red face mobile mech

well the guy that I got to do the work has done stuff for me in the past. He was listed as one of a million mobile car fix it guys. I took it to his shop and got the car back 4 mo later in bad shape ohhh check eng light came on with code for a TPS. Thanks for the link I will look it up. But would low compression cause fuel cut? If I ease into the gas it will pick up speed just fine just not insanely fine how I like it lol. This Fuel cut thing could be MAS I Got no code for it but my buddies laptop showed no reading from the MAS when we pluged it up?

It was just a misfire caused by low compression, I'm betting.

Ok well since compression is low, do a wet compression test and follow that w/ a cylinder leak test.

Btw when you did the compression test did you have the pedal to the floor, then crank it?
