Default oil in the intercooler tube

So get this i was changing my intercooler piping this morning and found out that there was some oil in my intercooler tube leading to my throttle body. Dose anybody know how it got there and what this means?? im new to turbo charged engines...but my only guess is it came throught the vacume lines that come from the valve cover then connect to the intake and then up through the BOV. I hope it is nothing too serious. I cleaned it out of the throttle body and the intake manifold. If anyone can tell me whats going on here it would be very apprecieted!!! Thanks.

its pretty normal and yes its from that crankcase hose. if you dont like it you could get a catch can but for emissions purposes you ahve to live with it.

it can grime up your turbo over time. Pull the snorkel off your turbo inlet and wipe the oil away every so often. You can also clean out your ic if you feel like taking that out too.

Crank case tube is after the turbo chip. Thers no way it can grime up the turbo. If you have Oil on both sides of the turbo then its time to get a new one but a little oil never hurt anyone. BTW in your motor your egr valve shoots exaust gas into your intake, so a little bit of oil isant going to hurt anything.

Turbo chip?? what is a turbo chip. And I dont know if you drive a dsm or not, but if you do youd realize there is a tube running from the valve cover to the snorkel tube BEFORE the turbo. Another words, oil gets sprayed onto the compressor wheel of the turbo and it does grime up the turbo. And exhaust gas from the EGR valve is not the same as oil in your intake.

I was calling you chip, I dont drive a dsm I drive a Mopar, and on mine the valve cover dump tube is by my bov. Ever take off you intake manifold? Theres a bunch of oil and grim in it b/c of the egr valve.
