I am an old school car owner and have not moved to the synthetics yet. I will look at them.
Your pictures of the oil filter reminded me of an article I saw a few years ago. I was able to locate it. The definitive Oil Filter comparison. This guy went out and bought just about every oil filter there was and took them apart. He give the good, the bad and the ugly. I was aware that fram;s are really cheap.

regular oil will be fine for your car as long as you keep up on the oil changes every 3000 you wont see any problems. Alot of us use synthetic for the turbo cars because the type of oil is alittle more critical. But for your car i really dont think its worth the extra expense. As long as you keep up. But definetly no fram. Get the mobil 1 filters
