Yeah essentially it's the same thing just the other side. But some people you know... they need a pic of the engine they have instead of correlating the 2 different parts as being the same.

All the basic parts are the same just on the other side of the engine.

Kinda like any engine. Figure out where the basic parts are and they'll be in the same approximate spot (Or nearby) on ANY car.

Sometimes...I changed my oil last weekend and spent about 5 minutes looking for the oil filter lol. Every other car I've owned has a side mounted filter, it was a nice change to have it placed on the bottom so the oil didn't leak all over the block. But yeah, I felt like an idiot.

Oh trust me I've seen ALL kinds of oil filter placement. I've even seen one mounted behind the left headlight... And then there are the different oil catch thing's spots... My friend has a contour that drips the oil from the filter almost directly on the flex hose... What's the point in THAT?!?! I've changed oil on a suzuki box truck that you had to literally flip the cabin up to get to the engine and filter. The european cars are the ones I hate the most though... Have to get a SPECIAL wrench to take the filter housing then pull the element out and the elements are anywhere from $8-$14 a pop... AND you have to pull that stupid little o ring off the housing and put the new one on (O ring covered in oil shortly after attempting to remove it your hands are covered in oil. Then you just keep rolling it instead of getting it off...).

Yeah but it's a rotary... That says enough right there... LOL Like I said I've seen them all over these people put filters in the weirdest spots anymore...
