I push it in manually....
Wow your hands must have the strength of ten men, haha. There is something wrong if you can do this. Because there should be so much pressure in the piston that its difficult even with a C-clamp.

Usually what i do is use the old brake pad and put it across the caliper piston then take the c-clamp and put it on the pad and the back of the caliper

thats what i did with the fronts with the old pads. i just thought this tool was absolutely needed. but im going to do it same time im getting my summer tires on WOOHOOO. im sick of these damn studs

Well, nothnig was wrong with them. They were fairly easy to push back. The only annoying thing was they kept coming back out again, but if you push them hard enough, they stay

sebba, i think he was just referring to that picture of the lotus tipped over on the lift, haha. Ive seen a pic of an MR2 that it happened to as well
