I think sebba is right about other people working on your car not every mechanic is going to care as much as you might. but maybe this isnt something you can dowith out learningbasic's itprobably wont be as easy as it wasfor thatguy.espically if you have no idea what your doing and/or what that part function is. maybe doing some reading getting to know the basics like what is every part function and learning to take measurments and getting the ring gap correctly (knowing what that means?) getting the torque specs and the pattern that it should be torquedtois very important. doing engine timing plus getting all those tools you need i dont know how big of tool collection you have a decent torque stick may cost you 150 or higher. its possible just may take longer but am sure you can do it.

i mean i'm building my engine over the course of a year or two. just research all you can, and definately make sure you watch for that torque patter, i did that on my valve cover and now i have an oil leak due to my stupidity and overtorquieng?(spelling not necessarily my thing)
