performence wires?

Default performence wires?

I was thinking of adding some MSD wires and denso plugs to get some horsepower on my 98 eclipse.. does anyone have this and does it improve pick up a little bit?

I don't see any HP gain unless your old wires are so bad that it misfires. It might allow your car to run better though.

plugs and wires are general maintainence. id replace the plugs every10k miles or so, if you replace the wires get some magnecors they are a good wire and cheaper than stock ones. but dont expect more hp out of them

I switched all min around to "performence wires" and plugs. All it did was idle somewhat smoother and better throttle response. If your not serious bout ur car, it aint worth it. Cause the plugs i bought were 14 a peice and the plugs were 45.

dont know what you are buying at $14 per plug but all you need are dsms are nkg bp6es or bp7es, should be $10 for the set

$14...dang what were they? I can get Denso for $11 a piece. BTW...how does one get rid of the throttle delay on a sporty transmission? I know it's not much, maybe 1/4 of a second, but when I put my foot to the floor...I want it to feel like im connected to the damn injectors. I'm sure it's just waiting for the tranny to downshift, which I'm probably out of luck.

They are Iridium plugs, highest grade you get. And the reaction difference is a lil noticable, but not nothing thats gunna make you go woah.

Yeah, Denso Iridium....you can get them for about $11 or a full set of 6 on ebay for $60 shipped
