What are the problems with the 1g and 2g eclipses, like any thing with suspension, and engine problems, can u plz tell me

 

I'm not sure for all Eclipses but I do know my 98 Spyder GS-T had a recall on ball joints...

 

All Spyders had the recalls, the 2g gsx's had a transfer case problem, check out the the TSB boards for recalls and crap. But for general modifying, the 1g's had a good engine, decent tranny(hard to shift over 8500rpm). 2g's had a decent engine(crankwalk, small turbo) and good transmission. </P>

 

My 95 eclipse had a recall on the computer, some parts for the emissions and the ball joints in the front.

 

The 2g n/t have they're own set of engine problems that wouldn't relate to 2g turbo's, so you'll have to decide which one you want.
