so i bought a 95 turbo eclipseGST awhile back with 60,000 miles on it and after two weeks of drivin it the trans blew out on it.....hada get a new one and i drove it home from my mechanic and then took it out to one of my racin buddies house adn barley made it home because it shut off at everry stop sigh i stopped at.....now it does start at all......could it just be a bad battery or what any ideas on what is wrong would be great.......the car is in really go shape body wise and the engine is good and all so i really done't wanna get rid of it if i don't have too

It sounds like a sensor to me if its doing it at every light and now wont even start. I would have the battery tested at autozone or something first to check that. Do the interior light come on and does it try to turn over at all?

Oh also just to check something stupid, i had a similiar problem where i had to give it gas to keep it going and it ended up being that my battery terminal was corroded making a bad connection. Just something else tocheck

 

what does it do when you try to turn it over??? does it turn like it always does or is it slower than normal? also, does it sound like it wants to start or nothing?
