Default Questions

Ok so I was lookin at the turbo's available out there and there are plenty of options but what I don't know is should I go with the 2.5" or 3" o2 housing. Should I get the wastegate configured on the 02 housing or the manifold? There is also an option at the bottom of the page for a 90 degree elbow. What is that? By the way guys I think I've made up my mind about going with the FP Green turbo. Any feedback on it?

fpgreen is a great turbo and you can't go wrong as long as you take care of it. if i were gettin that turbo and i didn't have a turbo timer... i'd get one. personally i LOVE the way that FP had their setup w/the FP racing manifold along w/ the Turbo and external wastegate put together... if you look at the pics on FP at the FP3052 you'll see what i mean. i HATE when they have spider manifolds w/ an extra thing going off in whatever direction w/ a big external wastage... i think it's very tacky and ugly. this is very appealing to the eye and b/c i'm still somewhat about looks that's what i'm going to end up running also.

Ok so since no questions were answered I will chime in. The FP Green is an awesome turbo built by a VERY reputiable shop. You should run the wastegate off of the turbo as well. It is recomended by FP and thats who you are getting your green from....

The 90 degree elbow is for different i/c setups or 2g specific. If you have a fmic that is short route you would want it to point to the drivers side and the opposite if you are stock ic.

For the o2 housing there are a couple of things to think about. First where are you getting it from? I havent seen an FP 3in o2 housing i will look after I post. But, if you go 3in there is a chance that you will have to un-bolt the downpipe to remove the oil filter. If you go 2.5in you will have no worries and in most cases 3in isnt needed unless your looking for that extra couple of HP.

Hopefully I have given you some insight.

Oh and I run the green as well right now and love it! No need for a tt as well I have ran this any many other turbos for years with out one. Common knowledge really....If you have just ran the **** out of your car and want to turn it off DONT. If you have simply sit with your car for a min or 2 get things handled with what you are taking inside and shut the car off.

If you feel like running one I have one in one of my 1gs that I havent unplugged yet. The harness will work as well you just have to swap one wire...
