Aside from this damn problem, new problem just came out today. I hate my eclipse. I've put too much money into it. MAJOR LIABILITY.

My Axel broke and the car just slammed on the ground and broke my lower ball join. How much will this cost me again?

THis is it, when this is fix, I'm getting rid of this car. Problem never stop coming as long as I still have this car

The axle might be $100 at an auto parts store, maybe more.
I paid $95 for the right axle.

As for replacing it, its not a hard job, but it's easier w/ air tools.
In fact, you will need an air hammer to knock it out.

 

josh, thanks for letting me know how much it is. I broke my ball joint and driver side front axle. THe mechanic said it will be around 350 included labor, is that sounds right?

 

As long as that includes the alignment afterwards, which it should, then yes that sounds like a fair deal.
