Default radiator fan ?

Hi all, once agian a problem reard its ugly head. My radiator fan the one closest to the engine is not working all the time. I was idleing and noticed the engine was a little hot so i popped the hood and only seen one fan working.I turned the ac on and both fans were then working.I turned the ac off and they both stayed on is this caused by a bad radiator fan control relay? and if it is what part from this page is the one i need? http://www.partsamerica.com/ProductL...00&PTSet=A
thanks in advance

oh and is there a way to maybe clean/fix or adjust the one i allready do have becouse this car is nickel and dimeing me to death. And i wanna restore her to her original glory but i cant put money into cosmetics untill i get it running right for more than a couple days.

Default RE: radiator fan ?

This happened to me once in my '99 GS-T when my fan wasn't working at all..It turned upt to be a bad relay which are under the hood in a box (duhhhh right?!)...it was hard to tell by just pulling the relay and looking at it that it was bad. I can't remember exactly which one it was under the hood or how much it cost..I know it wasn't that cheap for all the bigger the thing is.
