Default radiator and a/c fan

I have a '97 Mitsubishi Eclipse that needs a new radiator fan. Both the ac fan and the radiator fan are broken. Ionly reallyneed the radiator fan for right now, so I ordered a radiator fan off of partstrain.com.

But the guy putting it together for me told me that it's the ac fan.

The discrepancy is deciding which fan I actually bought.

What will solve this dilemma is finding out which side the radiator fan resides. Is it the driver's side or is it the passanger side?

The one I have is a fan that fits on the driver's side. Was I right on my purchase? And did I really recieve the radiator fan?

from what i know about mitsu's yes but i strongly recomend getting the other fan cuz it helps cool the car at times. the engine fan should have less blades and they will be bigger.

The radiator fan is usally made out of rubbery plastic, and is slightly larger in width.
