Default Really stupid clutch adjustment question

I fully admit that this is the "I'm clueless" question from hell. Please feel free to point and laugh as much as you'd like.

I'm trying to adjust my clutch pedal height, and I haven't been able to get either of the nuts loose. Before I do something insanely stuipd, I want a sanity check... the bolt isn't left-handed threaded, is it? I can't imagine any reason that it would be, but I've been wrong before.

Default RE: Really stupid clutch adjustment question

You'll need two very small hands to get to this, lol. Seriously.
You'll need to get a wrench on the lock nut and one wrench on the slots of the rod to hold one of the two in place, then turn in opposite directions.
I don't remember which way the nut and shaft turns though, it's been too long since I've fiddled with it.
