Default Rear main seal

We recently had a rebuilt engine put in my sons '98 GS. The rear main is leaking quite a bit. Does the engine have to come out to replace the seal? Thanks.

Just drop the tranny and you should be able to get the job done. It's going to be a tight work place; especially if you're just using jack stands. Just be patient and have fun with your son.
