Default Reliability question

I just got a 95 eclipse GST (as most of you know) and it has 113,000 miles on it. (Good miles for the year) It's very clean, but motor mounts need to be replaced.

I leave for the Navy in June, but i was thinking about doing some basic mods. (For fun) Although, maybe it isn't even worth it? If i mod the car and it breaks, it would be useless...So, what are some basic things i can do, that will keep the car just as reliable as it is now? (For 4 months)

Honestly, i just recently had a fast car, so i don't plan on racing this one at all...Currently, it has a full 3' Thermal research and development exhaust and an open filter. (Stock catalytic converter)

I just want the car to sound good...It sounds good now, but it's a little quiet. Is their anyway i can make the BOV loud? If i just had a loud BOV, that would get me by until i leave...lol, i could have a lot of fun with that...

Although, I've heard that atmospheric BOV are not good on a stock car? They say get recirculating? What will happen if i don't?

So, what are some basic mods, or a good way to make the BOV loud, yet keep the car reliable for a while?

Look i dont mean to come off as an @ss, but we have been answering your questions for over a week and i dont mind doing it but lately its been the same questions over and over. We have already gone over what is wrong with venting a BOV....dont do it.

And we already told you small mods to do to make the car alittle quicker that will keep reliability.

if you just want that damn sound vent that stupid thing, your car will idle like crap, and waste a **** load more gas, but you'll get your noise, i did it when i first got my car, but for like 2 days, it wont blow your engine or anything but it will make you idle really ****ty at times and some times it wont, it's all up to you, do it and see what happens, if you like it keep it that way, its YOUR car, i knew someone who had theirs vented for over a year and all that happened was they had ****ty mpg and a funny idle at times, try it for yourself.

Alright, well i got a down-pipe today and a 1g bov.

Car is a bit louder and the exhaust is a lot louder, but sounds good. You won't hear anymore questions about the same thing, lol.

Thanks for all the help!

The car isn't much faster, but i guess you can feel a bit of a difference.
