To loose some pounds you can do this

remove the a/c components
get rid of p/s
get light weight front seats
remove the b/s
remove cc
remove the sound detening material from the car
light weight flywheel

You can do more but then it wont be a really good dd.

basically the rule of thumb is every 100lbs you lose u lose a 10th of a second i believe? so it takes a lot of weight loss to really make any gain

i aint sure bout the xact weight but i took out my back seat and my spare tire and jack and all of my panels. id say about 20 lbs at most. i get a lil better gas milage but it doesnt affect my speed at all
