the wires are only a month old and i checked them and there still good. When i get stuck in the stalling for awhile the check engine light comes flashing on and i cant think of anything else to do. ive down shiftedand accelerated but it still boggs at any gear and speed. any other ideas?

 

Wierd... Not the usuall symtom of that but glad u found that before it was to late.

 

maybe a sensor? i got headers and an exaust and no convertor or anythin just pure smoke and the sensors are suppose to regulate somthing. also wen im at a light and rev the motor to 5500 i can feel the car boggling too. ive yet to check the fuel filter cus i dont know were its at.

 

when the check engine light comes on get it scanned at an autoparts store, they will usually do it for free. Then tell us what the code is.

 

well there excuse is cuz i got the exaust the sensors will always be on. i dont want to take it to a mechanic cus theyll charge 40 just to check that. would you put your money on a sensor?i cant think of anythin else, but wat kinda sensor would that efect?

 

From a dead stop floor it if ithesitateseven past3,000rpms and if you on the high way at you floor it and it hesitates chances are its you catalytic coverter (A.K.A Caddilac Coverter)

 

well i dont have a coverter it was removed when i got the exausht. its just a stragiht shot from my headers to the muffler

 

Whens the last oil change?? That can make it run like crap if it's been a while. id get an k/n air filter or even american. u can put it on the stock .just remove the stock filter box. thats gotta help

What about the header guys maybe installed wrong not working properly?? idk i dont have any but most of you have change your manifol . ??

yea. the oil was changed about a month ago and i have an intake, the car doesnt do it wen its cold only wen its warmed.

 

So maybe the intake is getting too much hot air from the engine. Is it short ram or cai. You could put a shield on the short ram to block the hot air if thats what you have
