Hey, well my boyfriend has a '99 5-speed and for some reason his reverse lights doesn't work went put into reverse. It only works once in a great while. The bulbs and fuse is okay. So what else could it be?

 

theres something called a tranny sensor that should be right on top of transaxle. you'll need to take out the battery and battery shelf to get to it. once that's done, look on the top of the tranny towards the back driver's side and you should see a wire sticking out, that should connect to the back-up light switch
