Seat Covers ARGG!
Okay ...so I bought seat covers for my 2000 gs off of ebay. The brand is "CLA preformace racing team" If anyone has these covers or has heard of them please let me know how to properly put them on the seats. If no one has them or has heard of them then let me explain my dilema, First off they are pretty oversized there for I tried tucking in as much of the material as possible in order to get a tight fit. The actual material feels like a vinyl leather and is soft, and two toned (grey on black) However since the back bucket seats dip inward once you sit down they become extremly loose again, and look sloppy, espeically because when the covers were received they were wrinkled so unless their pulled tight they just looked loose and wrinkled. Also there are no seat belt holes so when the covers are on the rear seatbelts cannot be used....(not my main concern, it would look better but no one sits in the back too often to worry about it anyway) ...since the rear seats fold down the latch that clicks into place securing the seat to be held upright is now covered with fabric because its the only way I was able to tuck in extra material ...so i dont want to damge the securing mechanism. Also...the original fabric can be seen in the front seats where certain nooks meet. And lastly they were shipped without any instructions(it isnt difficult to figure out without instructions...)... but, it came with little clips as if to attach elastic (on the back of the covers) to another elastic attachment....that didnt seem to help too much but maybe im just doing it wrong?? So if anyone knows anything or thinks they are bum seat covers that werent worth the sixty dollars (not very expensive but then again they are being installed by the buyer), and I should just return them and look around for different ones then please let me know ...or if I am doing it wrong, should try something else, or whatever please let me know. Thanks so much
i have never put seat covers on, but just think you bought them off ebay thats always a risk i have had fitment problems with things from there to. Sometimes they are factory rejects and stuff like that thats why its so cheap........
