Default short shifter boot.....

Hey guys im about to get a B&M short shifter for my 99 eclipse GS, but i can't find anywhere that sells short shifter boots except on e-bay and that's the kit - shifter and boot... anybody know where i can get a boot by itself? or a decent combo???? thanks

You should be able to get just about any aftermarket boot and get it to fit shouldn't you? I dunno maybe I'm all dorked up but I bought a few aftermarket sifterboots for my Sentra but never had a short sifter in it though...

Ya I would think you can get any thing from any aftermarket place... B&M must have one

i wasn't sure... i only assumed that the short shifter boot would be smaller than stock because it's so much shorter and it may look a lil tacky having all that extra slack

I would assume the same thing but they should come with a new one if it is needed

Take your boot off the car, cut it and re zip tie it... thats actually how its attached to the rubber grommet from the factory(with a zip tie). It should clean up the slack that you need it to... make sure you dont cut it too short though.

BTW the short throw shifter isant that much shorter then the stock, it just has a shorter throw. I took my short throw shifter and cut/welded it down, now its only 2 inches higher then where it bolts to the car and I love it.

that is very true...they are slightly shorter in length but the throw is much shorter
