short shifter boot.....
I have a stock dimensioned shift boot with the B&M shifter. The size of the shifter isn't that much shorter if at all (never measured) but I have it set for 50% reduced throw and it makes the car SOOOO much more fun to drive! You'll be happy with it, except for when it is very cold in the morning, then it can sometimes be a bitch to get it into second and reverse, but that all settles out once the car warms up. But yea the stock boot should work perfectly fine with it unless you decide to cut the shifter.
i had never driven a car with a short shifter until i drove my friend's Mazda 6 the other night and i LOVED the feel of it. stiff yet comfortable. i'll try the cutting of the stock boot if it doesn't look good. thanks guys.
