Yes, for the most part. Don't buy anything that has to work relly well to function (turbos, intercoolers, etc.) there are some exceptions and you can find name brand stuff, that is fine. You can get away with buying things off ebay that don't necessarily have to be made well to function like a cold air intake, I hope that makes sense. But as a general rule of thumb try not to mess with ebay as much as possible.

well like i said before i just got the car and at a good price so getting a gsx/gst is not an option. already had a gst. 95 model before i came into the army and it crankwalked on me and took the whole engine out so i sold it. so i take the spyder as a challenge. all i want is something that can lay down on the stupid civics, mustang gts, and cobalt ss's in my town. most of them just have simple bolt on's or a muffler and try to race me in my ford explorer. like thats a fare challenge. lol

oh so i can take a gst engine and it will fit in? what about the wiring harness? what all would i have to change out? any web sites that i can look at?

why would you want to drop a 4g63 in there. The 4g64 is well capable of handling boost and can be turbocharged much easier than doing a full swap. Just my two cents

ok so can sombody tell me what all is needed. i have found bits and peaces around but not a site that says what all i need to buy to to the head swap and about how long/hard is it to do. this car is my wifes day car so it cant be down too long
