Size of rims??

hey so i have an eclipse rs 96 and i want to put 17s on... what size should i go for? 17/7? 17/7.5?

i would say 17/7 just to give some space,i put some 18/7.5 before and it would rub

i had 18s on my GS. they looked good. didnt rub when i turned.
