So my car was running well monday night at like 8 and when i came out tuesday morning it wouldn't start and i cant figure out why it wont start, it cranks, it has spark, it has fuel. SO i dont know whats happening maybe somone had the same problem please help!!!

 

well you can take the top timing belt cover off and see if its loose. when you crank it does it crank faster than normal?

 

timing belt is still tight and in time still it cranks a little faster but nothin like i blew some rings or something i just cant figure out why it wont run lol

 

it might be that there is no fuel getting to the engine. Check the fuel pump.

 

yeah i checked the fuel pump already it still has fuel

 

That happened to my sister's car too. We took it to a garage, and the mechanic said that my sister's car (Eclipse GS spyder, 4G64) had 2 timing belts. Which I am not sure if that is true?

 

yeah i dont know timing belt is still in time and still tight

 

maybe its the ECU

I have the feeling that's the main computer....is it ECM or ECU? I don't what it's call. I had the same problem and code shows that computer are not working. What I did was, I go on ebay and get refurbished computer for about 200 bucks and it works great. THe only thing that u need to do after iinstalling the newer computer, u just need to go to Mitsu dealer and get them reset the computer. I think it's about 60 bucks to reset.
